About me
Leon Jackson is the Digital Transformation Lead for Roche Information Solutions (RIS) in APAC. He joined Roche from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Singapore where he was the Healthcare Chief Technologist for Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ).
He brings more than 22 years of experience in software engineering in various roles from being the CTO founder of 2 start-ups to being a CIO of a Healthcare Provider. He has spent 17 years of that experience directly in healthcare, as a CIO designing and executing digital transformation for a healthcare provider, as a CTO migrating an Electronic Health Records and Analytics Solution to the cloud and is now on digital solutions for RIS.
He is passionate about how healthcare delivery can be augmented through Agility on the Cloud, AI and other technology to improve the precision and accuracy of care, the experience of the providers and patients and allow for innovation to enable better access to care.
He is also committed to continuously upholding the security and privacy of data in Healthcare and Life Science and serves on the Cloud Security Alliance APAC Research Advisory Council and the HITRUST Asia Advisory Council.
