About me
Tom has over 31 years of experience in the Investment Banking industry, holding various technology roles supporting core functions such as digital platforms, equity, FX, fixed income, custody services, and risk management.
In 2004, he completed an MSc with distinction in Mathematical Trading and Finance at the London City CASS Business School. This qualification, combined with his extensive technology background, provided a solid foundation for focusing on the strategic development of risk management applications for trading and enterprise risk management.
At Lehman Brothers, Thomas worked on building the exotic fixed income desk’s risk management platform before moving to Deutsche Bank to lead the transformation of core market risk applications.
At Deutsche Bank, he held senior global roles across Market, Credit & Operational Risk, and Front-Office Technology, with a mandate to re-engineer platforms to enhance business efficiency and comply with future regulations.
Currently, at Standard Chartered, where he has been for over five years, Thomas serves as Head of Digital Platforms Technology for CCIB Channels, focusing on delivering strategic value and driving positive change.
